The Digital Farmer project aimed to transform European agricultural education by integrating digital technologies into VET systems. Through European funding and international cooperation among training institutions, research centers, universities, and industry partners, the project developed teaching materials, innovative work-based learning methodologies, and platforms for awareness-raising and exchange of good practices.

Focusing on educators and trainers, it implemented a train-the-trainer approach to enhance digital skills, promote innovative practices in agriculture, and strengthen the environmental and economic sustainability of the sector. Key activities included local roundtables, international workshops, digital internships, and the creation of a Network of Digital Farmers platform to support knowledge sharing, transnational cooperation, and the dissemination of European best practices.
