The project D-LEAD aimed to encourage young people in rural communities to engage in local politics, strengthen their capacity for expressing opinions, and participate in decisions that directly affected them.

It sought to promote critical reflection on agricultural decision-making, inform youth about local authorities’ policies, and improve leadership, communication, and negotiation skills for social, professional, and political development.

Activities included:

• Α digital Youth Hub connecting youth with agricultural processes
• Α Youth Debate on modernizing agriculture through digitalization
• Α Round Table on implementing digital agricultural policies
• Αn Agro-Campaign promoting sustainable digital policymaking
• Α Youth Participation Mobility in the form of an Agriforum with youth farmers, policymakers, and entrepreneurs.

The project impacted partner organizations by enhancing managerial skills, reinforcing relationships with local officials, and improving understanding of the EU Youth Dialogue framework and Youth Goals #9 and #10, supporting broader youth engagement in democratic processes and civic participation.
