Project's Summary:

The 24-month ARABLE project aimed to empower youths with disabilities by enhancing their professional knowledge and business skills, enabling them to engage in sustainable agricultural entrepreneurship and participate equally in the labor market.

It involved 10 partner organizations across 3 EU Member States (Greece and Croatia), 2 associated third countries (Liechtenstein and North Macedonia), and 5 non-associated Southern Mediterranean countries (Tunisia, Morocco, Egypt, Israel, and Jordan). The project implemented youth workers’ learning experiences, conducted research on best practices, and organized transnational meetings.

These activities led to the development of the ARABLE transitional database and e-Guide on best practices, training methods, and guidelines, as well as an open online learning environment tailored to the needs and interests of disabled young people. ARABLE highlighted the opportunities to cultivate arable lands and the abilities of youths to thrive in inclusive, sustainable agriculture.
