Project's Summary:
The SOIL project was launched to help bring digital technology into the agricultural sector, especially in the areas of certification and quality control.
It focused on giving VET students and trainers, including those with disabilities, the tools and skills they needed to keep up with the changes in modern farming.
The project also aimed to support more environmentally friendly farming methods.
Over its two-year period, SOIL carried out a number of activities, such as studying the needs of its target groups, creating an online training platform, and developing an augmented reality app to support hands-on learning.
It also held events to share its work and made sure everything was properly monitored through a quality plan. The main results of the project included a set of video tutorials and training materials, a digital lab portal for trainers and students, and an AR app that helped users identify plants and practice gardening with the help of trainers online.
