Background and Experience

The Institute for the Promotion and Certification of Agri-food Products seeks to operate within the following strategic priorities:

    Strengthening the competitiveness and sustainability of the primary sector through initiatives that foster innovation, modernization, and alignment with national and European strategies for agricultural development.

  • Promotion of Quality Products and Enhancement of Their Identity
    Elevating the recognition of agri-food products by promoting their unique characteristics, ensuring high standards of quality, and reinforcing their brand identity, thereby increasing their commercial value both in domestic and international markets.

  • Support for Networking and Collaboration in the Agri-food Sector
    Facilitating synergies among producers, enterprises, and stakeholders within the agri-food value chain, in order to encourage knowledge exchange, joint ventures, and integrated approaches to sectoral development.

  • Development of a Comprehensive Marketing Strategy for Local Products
    Designing and implementing a holistic marketing framework that highlights the distinctiveness of local products, strengthens their market positioning, and enhances their long-term presence and competitiveness.

  • Linking Agricultural Production with Tourism
    Creating strong connections between agri-food production and the tourism industry, showcasing local gastronomy and products as key elements of cultural identity and regional development, thus enriching the overall visitor experience.
