EARTH-2030: Unifying Towns for Climate Neutrality and Zero Waste
🟢 Overview
EARTH-2030 is a forward-thinking European initiative funded by the CERV-2023-CITIZENS-TOWN-TT call for Town Twinning projects. It brings together municipalities and civil society organizations from five EU countries to work hand-in-hand on shared challenges of our time: climate change, digital inequality, and food sustainability.
Hosted in Naoussa, Imathia (Greece) and coordinated by the Institute for Promotion and Certification of Agrifood Products (iAgroCert), the project emphasizes unity, inclusivity, and citizen participation through a vibrant 3-day international event

📅 The Event: Twin the Transition
Over the course of three thematic days, EARTH-2030 delivered engaging discussions, hands-on workshops, and dynamic networking opportunities around the twin transition: green and digital.
🗓️ Climate Conference
Theme: “Adapting to Climate Change… We’re Changing Too!” A policy-focused session on EU funding opportunities for climate resilience, adaptation, and citizen empowerment at the local level.
🗓️ Food & Zero Waste Workshop
Theme: “Sustainable Food Management and Zero Waste Solutions” Experts and community leaders explored strategies to minimize food waste and promote sustainable, local food systems.
🗓️ Digital Summit
Theme: “Digital Inclusion and Sustainability” The final day addressed the digital divide, showcasing how access to technology can support environmental action and social equity.
